Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Wiki

Bupposo is a Seethe in Kamitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess.

Background[]

Long ago, there lived a man with elongated limbs and a body swathed in bruises and boils. He wielded his sword effortlessly, slicing through even stone with an inhuman strength. The man lost his master on the battlefield, and with no home to return to, found his way to a village. But his strangeness frightened the villagers, and he disappeared one night from the graveyard, leaving behind nothing but a small Daruma-shaped doll. The villagers named it after the birds known as Bupposo, whose frequent cries could be heard from the forest, and enshrined it within a sacred tree.

Attacks[]

Bupposo primarily attacks with his sword in various ways. Powerful, but well telegraphed. At about 25% health, he'll decide he needs a bigger sword, and rip off one from the scenery. This one unleashes powerful attacks of energy, but is slower. The pattern is one forward slash, one horizontal, and then one roundabout slash. He'll usually enter recovery after all three, creating an opening for an attack.

  • Bupposo's sword has a wide swing but a long wind-up between attacks. Watch its movements closely and strike back when an opening appears.
